Boxing Glove Headstone

The Boxing Glove Headstone is an upright granite sport memorial featuring a sculpted boxing glove within a ring-inspired form, created to honor a boxer, trainer, coach, corner man, or lifelong fan of the sport. Measuring 18 × 6 × 30 inches, this tall, narrow monument suits standard single-grave cemetery plots and stands as a lasting tribute to a fighter's spirit.

Boxing has a culture of discipline, sacrifice, and resilience that few other pursuits match. A young fighter rises at 4 a.m., runs road work in the dark, and spends years refining footwork, combination timing, and ring strategy. Trainers dedicate decades to developing champions, often never making headlines themselves. The Boxing Glove Headstone honors that culture — the person who laced up every day, who knew that getting knocked down is not the end, only the moment before getting back up. The polished tablet holds a name, dates, and an inscription such as "Undefeated in Our Hearts," "Never Stopped Fighting," "The Last Bell Has Rung," "A True Champion," or "Trained Hard. Fought Fair. Lived Right." Families also engrave a gym name, amateur or professional fight record, weight class, regional or national title, or the name of a trainer who shaped a career.

Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black and Indian Black provide the sharpest contrast for laser-etched portraits of a fighter in stance, at the gym, or in a corner. Indian Red adds a bold color that echoes classic red canvas and red boxing gloves. Grey offers a dignified neutral tone for fighters whose family prefers a traditional look. Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, and Paradiso Old are available for families seeking a distinctive color.

All engraving — the sculpted glove, lettering, and portrait — is sandblasted into the granite to remain legible outdoors through decades of weather. A free 3D design proof and rendering are included so families can approve the glove sculpture, inscription, and any portrait before carving begins. Our cemetery coordination team confirms monument dimensions, foundation requirements, and installation procedures with the cemetery before any production starts.

Backed by three generations of monument craftsmanship since 1960, this boxing headstone is built to endure in cemetery conditions and keep a fighter's memory standing strong.
