Classic Border Granite Ledger Memorial

The Classic Border Granite Ledger Memorial is a full-coverage flat ledger featuring a precisely engraved rectangular border that frames the polished inscription surface with clean, architectural lines. Spanning an entire burial plot—typically 48 × 24 to 96 × 48 inches—and rising 3–5 inches above grade, this low-profile ledger is the right choice for lawn-style and Catholic cemeteries that restrict upright monuments, and it functions as both the grave identifier and the lasting memorial in one unified piece.

The engraved border creates a formal frame around the central inscription area, which provides ample space for a shared family surname, individual names and dates for one or two people, an epitaph or scripture, and laser-etched portrait medallions at each name. Inside corners of the border can be accented with small floral motifs, rosettes, or faith emblems. Classic epitaph choices for ledger monuments include "Together in Life and in Death," "Beloved by All Who Knew Them," and Psalm 23:1–2. The simple border design complements any inscription style from traditional serif to modern block lettering.

Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, and Paradiso Old. Grey with traditional Roman lettering evokes European memorial parks; Galaxy Black maximizes portrait clarity; Bahama Blue provides a serene, contemporary look.
