Double Heart Companion Headstone

The Double Heart Companion Headstone is a distinctive companion memorial featuring two heart-shaped granite tablets joined at a shared base, creating a unified monument that reflects the bond between two loved ones. Measuring 36 × 4 × 30 inches overall, the dual heart silhouette provides an individual polished face on each heart panel — one for each person — with ample space for names, dates, epitaphs, and meaningful symbols engraved or laser-etched onto each stone.

Families who wish to pre-plan may install the stone with one name, birth date, and death date inscribed, leaving the companion heart death date blank to be completed at the graveside by a professional engraver after the second individual passes. Seven granite colors are available: Galaxy Black and Indian Black are the top choices for laser-etched portrait photographs and fine-line inscriptions; Grey offers the classic neutral look most widely accepted by American cemeteries; Bahama Blue and Bahama Blue Light provide a distinctive blue-grey mineral tone; Indian Red and Paradiso Old bring warm, earthy hues with natural stone movement.

A digital design proof of the complete companion layout — both hearts, both names, dates, and any shared artwork across the base — is provided for family approval before carving begins. Our cemetery coordination service confirms companion-plot dimensions, foundation requirements, and installation scheduling with your cemetery before the stone ships. Every monument is custom-fabricated to order and inspected before shipping.
