Upright Headstones
Serp Top Upright Headstone
SKU: MH-232-006
The Serp Top Upright Headstone is a classic single granite memorial with a gracefully curved serpentine top and clean, balanced proportions that have made it one of the most popular upright styles in North American cemeteries. Measuring 20 × 6 × 24 inches, its standard dimensions comply with the size regulations at the majority of cemeteries nationwide, while the 6-inch thickness provides the structural integrity required for long-term outdoor installation.
The smooth polished front face offers generous space for precision sandblasted engraving of names, dates, epitaphs, religious symbols, and laser-etched portrait photographs — engraving remains permanent and does not fade over time. Available in seven premium granite colors: Galaxy Black and Indian Black provide the highest contrast for portrait engraving and fine script; Grey offers a traditional, understated look accepted at virtually every cemetery; Bahama Blue and Bahama Blue Light bring a distinctive mineral tone; Indian Red and Paradiso Old offer warm, rich hues with natural stone movement.
Before carving begins, our design team provides a full digital layout for your approval — including a scaled rendering of all inscriptions and artwork. Our cemetery coordination service contacts the cemetery on your behalf to confirm size, foundation, and installation requirements before the stone ships. Each headstone is custom-fabricated to order by skilled monument craftsmen with over sixty years of experience and ships to the cemetery or residence with professional setting available through our nationwide installer network.
