Classic Bevel Granite Grave Marker

Classic Bevel Granite Grave Marker is a timeless granite grave marker that serves as an enduring tribute to a loved one through its simple, dignified, and lasting design. The bevel marker's defining characteristic is its angled face: the stone rises from a low rear edge (approximately 3 inches) to a higher front reading face (approximately 6 inches), creating a natural 15-degree slope that improves inscription visibility from a standing position and channels rainwater and debris off the polished surface.

Standard dimensions for a single classic bevel marker are 24 × 12 × 3/6 inches (back to front), weighing approximately 45 to 50 pounds. Companion bevel markers — for two individuals — are available in widths of 36 × 12 or 48 × 12 inches, weighing 70 to 120 pounds. The angled, low-profile design satisfies the height restrictions enforced by most Catholic memorial parks, municipal cemeteries, and garden memorial sections that limit markers to 8 inches above grade.

The polished face offers ample space for personalized names, birth and death dates, portraits, religious symbols, fraternal emblems, memorial artwork, and meaningful inscriptions. Popular epitaph examples include "In Loving Memory," "Forever in Our Hearts," "At Peace With God," and Scripture passages such as John 11:25 or Psalm 23:4. Laser-engraved photographic portraits render with exceptional detail on Galaxy Black granite, which is consistently the most requested finish for portrait work.

This marker is available in seven genuine granite finishes: Bahama Blue (deep ocean-blue tone with silver flecks, popular for serene tributes), Bahama Blue Light (lighter tropical blue-grey with a luminous sheen), Galaxy Black (jet-black with golden mineral specks, the highest-contrast surface for engraving), Grey (classic silver-grey with subtle crystalline veining), Indian Black (deep charcoal-black, refined and understated), Indian Red (warm rust-red with natural mineral variation), and Paradiso Old (a richly toned blend of emerald green, charcoal grey, and deep burgundy). Each finish is sourced from monument-grade granite quarries and polished to a permanent, weather-resistant mirror surface that preserves engraving clarity for generations.
