Rock Base Bevel Granite Grave Marker

Rock Base Bevel Granite Grave Marker is a distinctive granite memorial that commemorates a loved one through a harmonious combination of fine craftsmanship and natural stone character. The marker features a smoothly sloped, fully polished top resting on a natural split-face granite base, creating a striking visual contrast between the refined engraving surface and the raw, handcrafted stone texture of the foundation.

Standard dimensions are 24 × 12 × 6 inches overall, with the polished bevel face rising from approximately 3 inches at the rear to 6 inches at the front. The natural rock-split base — produced by manually splitting the granite along its geological cleavage planes — gives each marker a unique perimeter profile; no two rock-base bevel markers are identical. Total weight is approximately 55 to 65 pounds.

The angled bevel face channels water naturally off the polished surface, reducing debris accumulation and keeping inscriptions visible without intensive maintenance. The spacious polished inscription area accommodates personalized names, birth and death dates, portraits, religious artwork, floral designs, and meaningful personal epitaphs. The combination of polished face and split-rock base is especially suited to garden memorial parks, natural burial settings, and cemetery sections where families seek organic visual character that still meets height restrictions.

Galaxy Black granite is the recommended finish for laser-engraved portrait work; the natural split-face contrast is particularly dramatic in Indian Red and Paradiso Old granites, where the mineral colour variation on the split sides sets off the polished memorial face. This marker is available in seven genuine granite finishes: Bahama Blue (deep ocean-blue tone with silver flecks, popular for serene tributes), Bahama Blue Light (lighter tropical blue-grey with a luminous sheen), Galaxy Black (jet-black with golden mineral specks, the highest-contrast surface for engraving), Grey (classic silver-grey with subtle crystalline veining), Indian Black (deep charcoal-black, refined and understated), Indian Red (warm rust-red with natural mineral variation), and Paradiso Old (a richly toned blend of emerald green, charcoal grey, and deep burgundy). Each finish is sourced from monument-grade granite quarries and polished to a permanent, weather-resistant surface.
