Shooting Star Granite Memorial Headstone

The Shooting Star Granite Memorial Headstone combines a graceful contemporary silhouette with a flowing hand-carved shooting star — a timeless symbol of guidance, hope, and a life that continues to shine. Measuring 20 × 4 × 30 inches, this veteran memorial stone is crafted from premium memorial-grade granite in your choice of seven enduring colors: Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, or Paradiso Old.

Designed to honor the full scope of military service, the polished inscription panel accommodates names, dates, military branch emblems, service branch shields, rank insignia, and heartfelt epitaphs. Families honoring Army veterans can engrave the Army star; Navy families may add the anchor-and-eagle seal; Marine Corps families the Eagle, Globe and Anchor; Air Force families the wing-and-star crest; Coast Guard families the racing stripe shield. For veterans whose remains were not recovered, this stone is also suitable as a memorial headstone inscribed with "In Memory Of" per VA custom memorial guidelines.

The laser-etched portrait option captures a service member's face in permanent detail. Custom sandblasted engraving renders medals, ribbons, and awards — including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Combat Infantryman Badge — with precision that endures decades of outdoor cemetery conditions. This granite veteran headstone is built to meet private cemetery placement requirements; families should confirm the specific monument regulations at their chosen national, state, veterans', or private cemetery before ordering, and retain a copy of the veteran's DD-214 for any cemetery approval process.

Available with standard polish on front and sides. Monument base sold separately. Expert cemetery coordination available for installation at more than 200 partner cemeteries across the United States.
