Standing Soldier Granite Memorial Headstone

The Standing Soldier Granite Memorial Headstone is a heartfelt tribute crafted to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of those who served in the United States armed forces. Measuring 24 × 6 × 40 inches, this granite military headstone is available in seven granite colors — Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, and Paradiso Old — each offering a dignified backdrop for a lifetime of service.

The hand-carved soldier figure stands beside a classic rounded memorial tablet, reflecting the strength and protection that define military service. The polished inscription panel provides generous space for the veteran's name, dates of birth and death, years of service, rank, military branch emblem, and a personal epitaph. Families honoring Army veterans can include the Army star; Navy families the anchor and eagle; Marine Corps families the Eagle, Globe and Anchor (EGA); Air Force families the wing-and-star crest; Coast Guard families the racing stripe shield; Space Force families the delta-and-globe crest.

Precision sandblasted and laser engraving supports military ribbons, medals, and campaign badges — including the Medal of Honor, Purple Heart, Silver Star, Combat Action Ribbon, and Vietnam Service Medal. Laser-etched photographic portraits capture a service member's face with the detail and permanence this tribute deserves.

For families applying for VA-furnished headstones for national or state veterans' cemeteries, this privately purchased memorial stone may be paired with a VA medallion (for veterans who died on or after November 1, 1990) to signify veteran status. A copy of the veteran's DD-214 or separation papers is typically required for cemetery approval. Our memorial advisors assist with cemetery compliance documentation for private, national, state, and veterans' cemeteries across all 50 states.
