Arch Shape Granite Headstone with Doves

The Arch Shape Granite Headstone with Doves is an upright arched headstone topped with a pair of hand-crafted doves, measuring 24 × 4 × 36 inches for standard cemetery plots. Doves symbolize peace, the Holy Spirit, and devoted companionship in virtually every world faith tradition — they appear in the Genesis flood narrative, Catholic baptismal iconography, and across Eastern religions as messengers of divine peace. This design is a meaningful choice for a spouse, a couple, or a person of deep faith.

The graceful arch form echoes Romanesque and Gothic church architecture, giving the stone a timeless cathedral silhouette in the cemetery. The hand-carved dove pair faces each other at the apex of the arch, and the engraved border frames a full-width inscription panel with room for two names, full date spans, a portrait medallion (20 × 20 mm minimum recommended for Galaxy Black), scripture, and a multi-line epitaph such as "Together in This Life, Together in Eternity" or "They Soared Together on Wings Like Eagles" (Isaiah 40:31).

The 24-inch width accommodates both single-grave and standard cemetery double-plot footprints, and the 36-inch height is accepted at most Catholic, Protestant, and non-denominational cemeteries that allow upright markers. Our cemetery coordination team verifies plot dimensions, foundation and setting-bed requirements, and installation scheduling with the cemetery before any stone ships.

Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black (highest portrait contrast, sharp laser etching), Indian Black (very fine grain, deep polish), Grey (muted and universally accepted, including VA national cemeteries), Bahama Blue (rich blue-grey undertone), Bahama Blue Light (lighter coastal tone), Indian Red (warm terracotta hue), and Paradiso Old (multi-color swirl with teal and burgundy). Galaxy Black and Indian Black show the doves' wing detail most clearly under sunlight.

Every order includes a free 3D digital design proof with unlimited revisions — families approve the font, dove position, artwork layout, and inscription before any carving begins. Sandblasted engraving is cut deep (typically 3–5 mm) so names and dates remain crisp and legible outdoors for generations. Memory Headstones has crafted granite memorials since 1960 across three generations of stone craftsmanship.
