Shaped Headstones
Leaf Carved Upright Headstone
SKU: MH-232-353
The Leaf Carved Upright Headstone is a contemporary shaped headstone with a softly flowing profile and a sculpted leaf accent, measuring 18 × 6 × 30 inches for standard single-grave cemetery plots. The leaf symbolizes growth, the cycle of life, and renewal, making this design a fitting choice for a gardener, nature lover, or anyone who found peace outdoors.
The polished face provides space for names, dates, and an inscription such as "Rooted in Love" or "Return to the Earth," and the carved leaf gives the stone a natural, organic character that stands apart from traditional rectangular tablets.
Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, and Paradiso Old. Grey and Bahama Blue Light let the carved leaf detail read softly, while Galaxy Black and Indian Black provide high contrast for laser-etched portraits and fine lettering.
Every order includes a free design preview and 3D rendering with revisions, so your family approves the shape, lettering, and artwork before carving begins. Our cemetery coordination team confirms dimensions, foundation requirements, and installation scheduling with your cemetery.
Memory Headstones has crafted granite memorials across three generations since 1960. Sandblasted lettering is cut into the granite so inscriptions remain legible through sun, rain, and frost.

Artist’s Palette Granite Headstone
The Artist's Palette Granite Headstone is a shaped headstone carved in the form of a traditional painter's palette with a paintbrush, measuring 24 × 3 × 28 inches for standard single-grave cemetery plots. It is created to honor a painter, illustrator, designer, art teacher, or any person whose life was defined by creativity. The palette's paint wells can be highlighted with engraved or etched detail, and the polished surface holds names, dates, a portrait, and a personal inscription such as "Life Was Her Canvas" or "His Colors Live On." Families sometimes reproduce a signature, a favorite artwork, or a brushstroke motif from the person's own work. Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, and Paradiso Old. Galaxy Black is the top choice for laser-etching an original painting or portrait because its fine grain holds photographic detail. Precise stone shaping and hand finishing give the palette smooth contours, and sandblasted engraving keeps the inscription clear outdoors.

The Teardrop Shape Granite Headstone is an upright shaped headstone with a graceful teardrop silhouette, measuring 22 × 4 × 28 inches for standard single-grave cemetery plots. The polished inscription surface holds names, dates, a portrait, religious symbols such as a cross, rosary, or Star of David, and a personal epitaph such as "Tears of Love" or "Gone but Never Forgotten." Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, and Paradiso Old. Galaxy Black and Indian Black are best for laser-etched portraits and fine lettering, while Paradiso Old and Indian Red highlight the curve of the teardrop with warm, natural color. The Butterfly Shape Granite Headstone is an upright shaped headstone carved as a butterfly with detailed wings, measuring 20 × 4 × 28 inches to suit standard single-grave cemetery plots. The butterfly is one of the most meaningful memorial symbols, representing transformation, hope, and the belief that a loved one's spirit lives on. This design is often chosen for a mother, grandmother, daughter, or child, and it can hold a porcelain photo of your loved one along with names, dates, and an epitaph such as "Free to Fly" or "Forever in Our Hearts." The wings can carry additional engraved artwork such as flowers or a short verse. Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, and Paradiso Old. Galaxy Black gives crisp detail for laser-etched portraits inside the wings, while Bahama Blue and Indian Red add color that highlights the butterfly silhouette.
