Serpentine Top Slant Granite Headstone

The Serpentine Top Slant Granite Headstone features a graceful S-curve crown that gives this compact slant marker the dignified silhouette of a traditional upright monument at a reduced height. Measuring approximately 24 × 6 × 10 inches, it rises 10–14 inches at the tallest point—ideal for cemeteries with an 18-inch height restriction that prohibit full-sized upright headstones while still permitting decorative slant markers.

The angled face, set at 15°–25° from vertical, positions the inscription for easy reading from a standing position in all seasons. Unlike flat markers, the slant face sheds rainwater and resists lichen growth, keeping names and dates legible for generations. The polished surface provides space for a full name, birth and death dates, a chosen verse or epitaph, and a small decorative element such as a rose, cross, praying hands, or service emblem. For families wanting a laser-etched portrait, Galaxy Black and Indian Black offer the clearest detail on the angled face.

Available in seven granite colors: Galaxy Black, Indian Black, Grey, Bahama Blue, Bahama Blue Light, Indian Red, and Paradiso Old. Rock-pitched sides (natural irregular texture) can be added to create a handcrafted contrast against the polished face—a popular choice for the rustic serpentine top variant.

Every order includes a complimentary digital design proof; your family approves the layout, curve profile, and all lettering before any stone is cut. Our cemetery coordination team verifies height limits, foundation dimensions, and installation scheduling with your cemetery. Memory Headstones has crafted granite memorials across three generations since 1960.
